Day 119: INSANITY!

"keep breathing, keep sweating. LET'S GOOO!!!!!!!"

so, i started doing Ab Ripper X from p90x sometime during the beginning of this semester. i’ve heard about p90x, but i’d never tried it before until one of my physics-mates, Anny, introduced me to the ab workout. i actually really really enjoy doing it :) i don’t dread it or anything (usually….hahahaha)

HOWEVER, jmal came home last week, and told me about this workout called Insanity. i’d never heard about it until she told me, and now we’re doing the workouts together! so, we see each other EVERY DAY :D hahahaha. i totally missed working out with her hahaha. we push each other like none other. and if PETTIT was here… oh gosh. end of ze world :) I MISS OUR FREAKING CRAZY WORKOUTS <3

the instructor’s named Shaun T, and i think he’s an x-athlete and something something something, i don’t remember :) hahaha. there’s a girl named Tanya in the video, who’s in all the workout videos (so far), and jmal and i call her our “competition” cuz she’s crazy in-shape. hahaha :D

we’re gonna freaking OWN her. SUCK IT, TANYA!

Day 116: Ryan Started the Fiyuh

…in the sky, that is!

sunset as seen from the Lincolnshire Barnes' parking lot

today, jmal and i started the Insanity workout. it was developed by shaun t? ionno exactly who that is, but yeah. good for him for making a nasty freaking workout. today was day 1, so we just did the Fit Test, and oh my gosh… i felt like i was on my way to blacking out… the moves aren’t TOO difficult, but we have to see how many we can do in a minute, record our results, and then do the fit test at the end of the 60 day workout, and see our improvement.

she’s still so fit. i’m still so not fit. haha, SOML.

afterwards, we chilled, she left, i showered, went to barnes, read/blogged there, and i decided to leave around 8:10p, and this is what i saw! it was pretty cool :) i twittered it and stuff, but… yeah. the sky. dang.

and, it looked even cooler for the buildings that were facing the sunset.. the color that the sun was spilling onto the buildings looked epic.
