Day 113: Reminders.

i was cleaning out my nightstand and i found this plane letter that jmal had written me in 2006. i was very surprised to find it, actually, cuz i hadn’t read it for a long long time. she’d just started her first job @ Capannari’s, a homemade ice cream store in mt. prospect (on Pine and Central, i think. right by the train tracks), and she taped 1/2 of her first tip onto the letter! how sweet of her!!!

anyways, i found this on the same day that i was having a horrible day, so it totally brightened up my day and reminded me that she’s been there for me since day 1… always there to listen, to talk and just… have fun. i don’t know what i’d do without her

thankful for you, sis. seriously. i love you! and i’m so glad you’re back for summer!!!

Day 53

what does "boyardee" even mean? is it someone's last name? the chef's last name?

So, I haven’t had one of these in a long long time… but, I had one a couple weeks ago! and it was FREAKIN GOOD.

However, there’s a little story that goes along with “chef boyardee” (any chef boyardee)…

So, when Malo and I were… I dunno… in 7th grade, I think… or like sometime in junior high, we were in my Mt. Prospect condo, and we were hungry, so we wanted to make some Chef Boyardee being the little junior highers that we were. So, one of the Chef Boyardees were about done in the microwave, so Malo went to take it out, and she held it by the top, and the bottom part (the actual food) DROPPED!!!!! and it splattered allllllll over the kitchen floor! haha, we had such a blast cleaning it up. And, I think it’s safe to say that every time one of us has a Chef Boyardee, we’re reminded of this moment so many great times with my b.e.a.uuuuutiful malo i miss you, sis!!!!
