Day 164: Lion King

haha alright jk, it’s not really simba’s dad and mom, mufasa and sarabi, but they really look like it, don’t they?? dang. these magnificent creatures are just amazing. so are any other type of wild cats, though. leopards, cheetahs, lions, tigers..? haha chyeah.

so on thursday, lakeview’s pre-k to 1st grade class went on an all-day field trip the Brookfield Zoo! it was pretty fun, i guess. i haven’t been to a zoo since i was wee little, so it was pretty awesome seeing animals like lions, tigers, leopards, and… gorillas! i really love lions/tigers/leopards and any of the like; they’re so beautiful.

Day 158: Cute Picture Day

Meanieyoung, Brian, Paul and I are the TAs for pre-k to 1st grade afternoon activities! we have a blast hahah. well,… today THEY did, because i wasn’t feeling well, but.. we all usually do! this was just such a kodak moment couldn’t give it up!

i’m really blessed to be working at lakeview i love the TAs and the kids! hahah

today:
-went to work
-hung out with christopher
-went to dinner with their family, cute girls who were born(?) and raised in kenya who were at our church for the past year! (ok, so i’d try and write their names (because i know them) but i don’t want to spell it wrong.. :/), dr. song and her family
-learned how to play poker on Ultimate Bet (chyeaaaa), thanks to christopher
-ate some delicious mangoes! (did i spell that right… christopher? bahaha =b)
-met my uncle from korea for the first time in my life!!! he’s my mom’s older brother, which makes him the eldest on my mom’s side he’s a lot shorter than i thought he’d be because my mom always said he was really really tall like my gramps was. i totally believe her, but i understand why he’s not too tall because he’s a bit older.. he’s on the balcony talking with my papa right now

this is my second family member that i’ve NEWLY met THIS year! i love it! i love knowing i have family half way across the world…

Day 155: Kindergarten

my first day teaching kindergarten with minyoung!

we were all really tired right before lunch, so we decided to take a 10-15minute nap

i keep wanting to call seth “sheldon”… hahaha i don’t know why! oh, and he also reminds me of the queen of hearts from the most recent Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp. hahaha
